ENGAGEMENT PHOTO SHOOT IN WARSAW

To say that Marta and Jakub are interesting people would be an understatement. This is one of the most colorful, cheerful and positive life-oriented couples I’ve had the pleasure to meet! They both love pop culture and are extremely crazy about comics, which are part of not only their private but also professional life. Kuba runs one of Warsaw’s iconic comic stores and is a real expert in this topic!

We made this engagement photo shoot a few months before their wedding. As we were talking about a personalized custom photo session we wanted it to be something special for them, images that they would happily return to after many years. It was obvious that the style of the photos must match their characters and passions. The choice of inspiration was simple – comics! We met at the home of Marta and Jakub, where they showed me their favorite comics and together we were thinking how to translate these cartoon stories into beautiful photos.

The effects of this meeting can be seen below. I think we managed to capture the comic style in the photographs. Marta’s pink bubble gum hair and Jakub’s yellow plaid shirt contrast beautifully with each other, and their loving looks make me curious how their colorful story will go on.
