FRENCH INDIAN WEDDING IN KRAKOW – POLAND

A unique love story that began in France – meet Caroline & Patrick
Do amazing love stories only happen in the fairy tales we tell our children?  Is it possible that the great love of these two people was born in France and then moved permanently to Krakow? I am aware that it may be difficult to believe in the truth of this story. But you have to trust my word and photos of this colourful Polish French Indian Wedding! Meet the amazing couple I had the pleasure of photograph – Caroline and Patrick. I invite you to see the images from their most important day in their lives. I can assure you that you will enjoy those beautiful moments.

She is from an Indian family, he is from a Polish family – Could it work?
Yes, of course! This wonderful wedding brought together two families that are now one. The heroes of our today’s story met in France. There they lived with their families. Caroline comes from an Indian family, while Patrick, although born in France, has Polish roots. As you can easily guess, Caroline and Patrick fell in love with each other for real. They returned to Krakow, where they settled permanently and decided to formalize their relationship in this Polish city. However, it was not as ordinary a wedding as you can imagine. No wonder, because the bride and groom themselves are very special.

Our great French-Polish-Indian wedding!

Seemingly unrelated cultures, joined at one wedding in Krakow thanks to our Bride and Groom – Caroline and Patrick. In this way, everyone present at their wedding and then reception that day had a unique opportunity to see the traditions, customs and rituals characteristic of French, Polish and Indian weddings. The journey through this wonderful experience poured new layers of creativity into me, which you can see in the images of the newlyweds. Good luck to you and see you in the streets of Krakow!

Willa Decjusza – as a starting point for their new life path.

After getting ready at home we went to Willa Decjusza for their wedding ceremony.  It is an extremely charming place, filled with peace and almost palpable haughtiness. This small palace in Krakow gave this ceremony a royal character. Caroline and Patrick, however, didn’t seem to be at all stunned by the elegance and power of the place. They blended in with the charms of Willa Decjusza like a part of a beautiful landscape. Staring at each other, they seemed to see nothing but the depths of their eyes. This is where the civil wedding took place. Run entirely in French – the native language for our lovers. Immediately after him, the families, united from now on, set off towards the next place of feasting for this beautiful French Polish Indian Wedding.

Ah, what a wedding it was!
From the beautiful palace, we all moved together to the Hotel Biały Dom where the wedding reception for the bride and groom was to take place. What do you think? Was it a traditional Polish wedding? Or maybe it had something straight from the French court? In principle, whatever you answer to these questions, you will be right. Caroline and Patrick’s wedding party was a real volcano of energy. A combination of three cultures: Polish, Indian and French. From the entrance, guests were greeted by beautiful Indian costumes. There were lots of flowers everywhere, everyone was happy and dancing. The wedding reception started with the blessings for the newlyweds from Caroline’s mother according to the indian wedding traditions. Immediately afterwards, there was a traditional Polish welcome with bread and salt, as befits a Polish wedding. Speeches that were eagerly given at this wedding were in as many as 3 languages. All I can say is that everybody had fun at this wedding!

How did the bride and groom experience their wedding day?
Our young couple definitely had fun and enjoyed the presence of their loved ones and the whole environment of this special day. Caroline and Patrick were (and certainly continue to be) a wonderful, devoted and self-absorbed young couple. Although Caroline is definitely more spontaneous and Patrick always remains calm – there is something that unites them and does not let you take your eyes off their deep affection. Watching them while taking the photos and film we came to the conclusion that they can maintain an amazing calm in front of the camera. They were natural, just like every day. I have no doubt that they will remember this day as one of the most beautiful in their lives. For me as a wedding photographer is was an unforgettable experience to be at this unique Indian Wedding in Krakow.
