Urban Elopement in Berlin – Fabrik 23

Berlin is a state of mind, a really  inspiring location for me as a wedding photographer. The capital city of Germany sets trends with its cool galleries, music, alternative nightlife… there is always something new to discover in Berlin. What is it exactly that makes this city so attractive? It is the capital’s diversity, contrasts and endless possibilities, a perfect place to photograph an alternative couple as these two beautiful girls Anna and Katie.

Love is love: same-sex photoshoot

It was a pleasure for me to travel to Berlin and have the opportunity to photograph this amazing same-sex couple photoshoot  with the lovely Anna and Katie. They are so beautiful, and so warm to each other.  These two girls are a true gift for a wedding photographer since it is very easy to create beautiful photos due to their evident beauty, but above all to their naturalness and spontaneity when posing, it is very easy to see the love and emotions between them.  As you know, Germany is a multicultural country and with a modern and open mentality, it is one of the countries within the European Union where same-sex weddings, gay weddings, lesbian and lgbt weddings are allowed. 

Berlin Wedding Venues: Fabrik 23

We took the photos at one of the coolest places in the city: The Fabrik 23.  A place that ranks among the 20 best event locations worldwide by AD, the world’s most prestigious magazine for interior and design.The Fabrik 23 is a very exclusive and authentic place in Berlin, an incredible location for a wedding venue and perfect for an elopement. A factory over 100 years old, well hidden inside a typical Berlin yard and only 1,5 km from the famous Friedrichstraße. Here you‘ll find an authentic industrial estate ambience: a mix of self-designed and vintage furnishings gives these unique lofts a very special atmosphere. It is a perfect place for your wedding in Berlin if you are looking for an industrial-style wedding but at the same time elegant, it also has a retro style that will delight couples looking for an alternative wedding style.  Fabrik 23 is an old factory with more than 100 years old located very close to the center of Berlin. It was acquired by an art-loving American millionaire philanthropist who financed its restoration, creating a unique space for all kinds of celebrations, including of course an incredible wedding venue where you can feel the alternative, multicultural and modern spirit of Berlin.

Industrial – Chic Weddings in Berlin

Industrial-style weddings are becoming more and more fashionable, especially in a city as cosmopolitan and open as the capital of Germany.
This type of  Berlin weddings give a new life to old factories, old abandoned warehouses or forgotten lofts. This type of wedding venues boasts aesthetic details that at first might seem counterproductive, such as visible pipes, exposed bricks, flaking paint, or cement floors, which precisely give it a touch of originality and modernity that many wedding couples are looking nowdays.
