An International Wedding in Málaga: Meret and Valentino’s Story
Some love stories transcend borders, languages, and cultures. Meret and Valentino’s is one of them. She’s Swiss. He’s Venezuelan. They met while living in Spain, and years later, they chose to return to the country where their story began to celebrate their wedding. They picked Málaga, in the heart of the Costa del Sol, and more precisely, Los Jardines de San Telmo, as the place to say “I do.” As a wedding photographer in Málaga, it was an honor to accompany them on such an emotional and joyful day.
The wedding was a true international celebration—full of heartfelt moments, vibrant energy, and a unique mix of traditions. Friends and family traveled from different countries to share this unforgettable day. And Málaga, with its beautiful light and warm character, provided the perfect setting.

Los Jardines de San Telmo: Beautiful wedding venue in Málaga
Just a short drive from the city center, Los Jardines de San Telmo is one of the most charming wedding venues in Málaga. It offers the perfect balance for couples who want to stay close to the city while enjoying a private, natural atmosphere. The venue combines traditional Andalusian rustic charm with modern touches and refined taste. Surrounded by palms and old olive trees, the gardens offer a serene and romantic backdrop.
The venue features dedicated areas for every part of the celebration: an outdoor ceremony space beneath the trees, a scenic terrace for cocktail hour, an elegant dining area under string lights, and a fully equipped party space. It’s a fantastic choice for couples seeking a stylish yet relaxed wedding venue in the Costa del Sol.
The wedding party at Meret and Valentino’s wedding was full of joy and good energy, Los Jardínes de San Telmo is a beautiful wedding venue in Malaga that elegantly combines a modern style with a touch of nature. It was a truly magical wedding in a wonderful setting. I love photographing these international weddings, especially when I have the pleasure of working with such lovely couple as Meret and Valentino. Thank you so much for this beautiful experience.

Best Photo Locations in and Around Málaga and Marbella
The Costa del Sol offers a wide range of incredible photo spots for wedding sessions. Here are some of my favorites:
Frigiliana – a picturesque white village with charming cobblestone streets and views of the sea.
Mijas – colorful, typical Andalusian village with beautiful light at sunset.
Ronda – known for its dramatic cliffside views and the iconic Puente Nuevo bridge.
Historic Málaga center – a mix of Mediterranean architecture, cathedral backdrops, and lively streets.
Quiet beaches near Nerja or Maro – perfect for romantic sunrise or sunset shots.
Montes de Málaga – for couples who love nature, forests, and panoramic viewpoints.
These locations are ideal for pre-wedding or post-wedding sessions, allowing couples to take home even more memories from their time in southern Spain.
